COURTS

The Club has three Astro Turf courts in a rural surrounding. The Club house and courts are enclosed by a natural stone wall providing a secure environment for all. The Club operate a courting booking scheme on two of the courts, currently Court 1&2, see link for Rules for Court Booking.

FLOODLIGHTING

Floodlighting may be used to 11pm each evening. After 11pm only in  exceptional circumstances to complete a league match or tournament matches. Cost  is £1 per meter per court. The meter is located in the kitchen and £1  will last approximately 32 minutes. Please note the lights are on a  safety mechanism and after extinguishing will not operate again until a  period of 15 minutes has elapsed. Please ensure you pay the adequate  money to the meters to cover your court play as this will help prolong  bulb life. 

CLUBHOUSE

Table tennis, playstation and television are available in the clubhouse. Tea and  coffee are available in the kitchen.

TELEPHONE

The club payphone is in the entrance hall. No: 028 9268 8079 Members  are requested to make every effort to answer the telephone even when on  court.

GATES AND KEYS

PLEASE ENSURE THAT THE LAST PERSON TO LEAVE CLOSES ALL WINDOWS AND DOORS AND THAT THE GATES ARE LOCKED. THE BASE OF THE LOCK SHOULD POINT OUT TOWARDS THE ROAD! Security lights are on a timer and will switch off automatically. They are located on the wall inside the front gate and on the wall in the entrance hall at the front door. They are on push button mechanism. Existing members should contact Fred Bustard if replacement keys are required – a charge of £5 will be made for the repalacement of lost keys.

COURT BOOKINGS

One hour slots are bookable on Court 1 & 2 only, court three is allocated on as first come basis. Booking schedule is in entrance hall of the Club House. Booking rules beside schedule.

SUNDAY PLAY

Sunday play is only available after 1pm, ALL MEMBERS must not use courts before this time. The closing of the front gates is at your own discretion.

SHOWERS

Hot water for showers is available at all times.

TENNIS BALLS

Tennis balls costing £4 for a tin of 3 are available for purchase from  Jane Dinnen. Balls will be provided for Club Nights.

CAN YOU HELP?

Do you have any old racquets, pictures or any other tennis memorabilia  which you would be willing to donate to decorate the clubhouse? Please  contact Barry Mc Keown. Have you any suggestions or new ideas for  functions or club activities? A suggestion box is on the wall under the  stairs in the clubhouse.

CLUB CALENDAR 2005

Regular Club Nights: Thursday 7.00 – 10.00pm and Sunday 2:00 - 4:00pm all year round. Clubnights may vary during the mixed league matches in May and June. 

Please watch the Website and noticeboard for changes. There will be an  extra club night during July and August.
