Junior Interregional Championships

5 Junior members represented SELB at the Interregional Championships where they were runners-ups. Congratulations to Tom Beatty, Emma Campbell, Kathryn Mills, Andrew Mitchell and Claire Pearson.

Irvinestown 7th -12th August 2006

Arrangements for the junior tour to Irvinestown are being made . This year the Tournament organisers are asking that Downshire be there for 3 days rather than the usual 2. At the moment no decision has been made about numbers going due to difficulties in finding chaperones.
Suggestions for fund raising are as follows:
24 hour Tennisathon
Ballot at Captain’s Day
Auction of 1 of the limited edition prints donated to the Club by Neil Shawcross
Lisburn Fun Run – half of the proceeds going to charity
