The sun
shone yet again on Downshire as over 50 children took part in the
juvenile fun morning on Saturday 11th June. The children, who ranged
in age from 5 to 11, took part in a wide range of team games degigned
not only to prove their tennis skills but also to be great fun.All
five teams achieved great scores with the winning team being Kathryn
Mercer, Katharine Walker, Cameron McClements, Daniel Mitchell, Alex
Haskins, Kathryn Bleakney, Sarah Cox and Alex Alexander.Shannon's
Jewellers sponsored the prizes and Mervyn Shannon presented the team
with their prizes |
